Description

The seated brass figure of Lord Hanuman who is seated on lotus base is given a resplendent touch. The Lord is seated on a huge lotus base which is also nicely treated. There are some nice carvings on the figure. A paradigm of devotion and strength, Lord Hanuman was blindly devoted to Lord Ramchandra, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Hanuman was instrumental in rescuing Seeta from the clutches of Ravana, the demon king of Ceylon (Lanka). The Lord (Hanuman) is widely worshipped across the country and his devotees keep fast on every Tuesday as a mark of respect to the dear deity.
