Bay Area photographer Merrie Asimow focuses her attention on equine, wildlife and nature photography. She travels to many exotic places to find horses and animals, always hoping that the light and the action will be aligned. The concept of stopping the action and holding that moment in time forever has always excited her, and it is what lured her into the world of still photography. She wants the viewers of her photographs to be thrilled by the nobility and grace of the animals in the pictures.
