These CASA volunteers work with a child in foster care to form a trusting relationship, giving that child a stable adult to care and advocate for their best interest. Today, CASA of Los Angeles is one of the largest CASA programs in the country. Nationwide, the association has 949 community-based programs and over 76,000 volunteers serving 251,000 children nationwide.
